TIG TORCH BACK CAP FOR WP9 & WP20 TORCHES

WP9 and WP20 compatible back caps available as short, medium and long. Choose from the above drop down menu to make a selection.

BACK CAPS EXPLAINED

The back cap applies pressure to the back of the collet to keep it in place against the collet body or gas lens. Whilst keeping the tungsten firmly in place, the back cap also serves to seal the torch head from the atmosphere.

Easily changeable the back cap screws onto the back of the torch.

The three sizes are available simply to accommodate the task in hand. A short (or button) back cap allows the user to get into tight spaces. When a short back cap is used, the tungsten may need cutting down in size to allow the back cap to screw into the torch.

If access is not an issue, a medium or long back cap should be used as it will take the length of a standard tungsten.
