Arms weigh 2.1KG – be sure to add this to the weight of the Tecna 7913 gun (16KG) when selecting a balancer.
Shorter spot welding arms usually generate the most amount of force between the electrodes. This is particularly important when welding certain materials such as stainless steel where increased electrode force is required to produce a good weld without splash. Longer arms offer a greater throat depth and hence the ability to spot weld further onto a part.
