Silica Welding Blanket – 0.6mm Thickness

A very soft and flexible welding blanket containing Silica for maximum heat resistance – up to 900°C. The soft flexible nature of these welding blankets make them much less likely to mark protected surfaces. They are ideal for automotive repair applications due to this softness and their ability to drape over a surface more readily than fibreglass type blankets.

Perfect for garages, workshops and where welding is being conducted near items requiring shielding from heat, spatter or sparks. Superb to hold/insulate hot components or isolate hot areas.

The blanket can be used to cover an area near the welding or grinding task to prevent damage and fire break out. Although not its primary purpose, these blankets can be used to cover a spark burning to prevent a fire.
