2.5MM 316L STAINLESS STEEL ELECTRODES – 1KG PACK

A rutile coated electrode for welding molybdenum alloys 18/12 and similar CR/Ni/Mo steels. SIFCHROME 316L produces a self-releasing slag and excellent weld appearance. It also provides high resistance against general and intergranular corrosion (up to 400˚C) and good resistance to hot cracking.

Welding positions:

Suitable for use in fillet, downhand, vertical up and overhead positions.

Material to be welded:

Suitable for universal applications but typical for all industries where superior corrosion resistance is required, such as textile industry, paper mills, chemical industry and cellulose industry. Commonly used in shipbuilding and offshore, power generation, general fabrication and construction and process industry.
