3.2MM 308L STAINLESS STEEL ELECTRODES – 4KG PACK

A rutile coated electrode for welding low carbon 18Cr10Ni austenitic stainless steel grades like 304. SIFCHROME 308L produces a self-releasing slag with brilliant weld appearance and excellent resistance to general and inter-granular corrosion (up to 350˚C).

Welding Positions:

Suitable for use in fillet, downhand, vertical up and overhead positions.

Material to be Welded:

Typical applications include industries where similar materials (including higher carbon types) as well as ferritic 13% Cr steels are used. Commonly used in shipbuilding and offshore applications, power generation, general fabrication and construction and in the process industry.
