SifAlumin No 16 4047A 2.4mm Aluminium TIG rods supplied in a 1kg pack.

An Aluminium TIG alloy containing 12% Silicon, for high silicon alloys and automotive work. Typically chosen where good colour matching to parent material is important.

Do not use if fabrication is to be anodised.

WELDING APPLICATIONS

Suitable for all types of aluminium castings. Typical applications include repair, surfacing and construction of window frames, tubes, furniture, engine blocks and automotive parts.

Frequently used in the aerospace sector and a brazing alloy on thin gauge material.

Ensure that the parent metal surface is cleaned and fully degreased prior to welding. Clean joints with a stainless steel brush.

Shielding Gas: Argon, Argon/Helium
