SIF A17 MILD STEEL 2.4MM TIG WELDING RODS – 5KG PACKET

Quality A17 2.4mm mild steel TIG rods supplied in a 5kg pack.

A copper-coated double de-oxidised mild steel rod. Used with the TIG process it enables sound, porosity-free welds to be made on mild and low alloy steels. The low silicon content makes SifSteel A17 suitable for welding joints that will be subjected to enamelling or galvanising.

WELDING APPLICATIONS

Often used for root pass on steels. Suitable for use in all positions.

Suitable for use on mild and medium tensile steels. TIG weld with Thoriated, Lanthanated or Ceriated tungsten electrodes, and pure argon shielding gas.
