SIF 308L STAINLESS STEEL 3.2MM TIG WELDING RODS – 2.5KG

Stainless steel filler rod suitable for welding 18/8 (304) austenitic stainless steels, providing good corrosion and wear resistance. For gas welding use SIF STAINLESS flux.

WELDING APPLICATIONS

Used extensively for applications in various industries, including ship building and offshore engineering, the pressure vessel and boiler industry, construction work, repair and maintenance, the food processing industry, refrigeration, the furniture industry, and the petrochemical industry.

MATERIAL TO BE WELDED

Sifsteel Stainless 308L is our solid wire for TIG welding low carbon 18CR10Ni austenitic stainless steel grades. The weld metal has an excellent resistance to general and intergranular corrosion up to 350°C and also provides good resistance to oxidising acids and cold reducing acids.
