Fibreglass Welding Blanket With PU Coating – 0.7mm Thickness

A light weight polyurethane fibreglass welding blanket available in a range of sizes and temperature resistant to 550°C.  Perfect for garages, workshops and where welding is being conducted near items requiring shielding from heat, spatter or sparks.  The PU coating on these blankets provide a resistance to greases and liquids.

These welding blankets are made from a fire retardant fibre glass material.  The blanket can be used to cover an area near the welding or grinding task to prevent damage and fire break out.  Although not its primary purpose, these blankets can be used to cover a spark burning to prevent a fire.

FEATURES:

• Heat resistant to 550°C
• Grommets on each corner and at 36″ centres
• Not recommended for molten metal slag protection
• Hemmed on all sides
