GYS Plasma nozzles for the EasyCut-40 / MT 45K-TPT 40 plasma cutting torch. When you order, you will receive 10 nozzles.
These are among of the most commonly changed parts when using a plasma torch. The nozzle focuses the plasma arc by funnelling gas flow. The nozzle or cutting tip orifice should be clean, symmetrical and the correct size to maintain cutting performance. As the tip or nozzle orifice is worn away with normal cutting applications, the arc will get wider and less defined. You may find the kerf of the cut increases. A less concentrated arc will also reduce cutting speeds.

When should I change my consumables?

Conditions |
| Nozzle (#040236) | Replace the nozzle when it looks damaged (traces of burns). |
| Tip (#040212) | Clean the inner part of the nozzle if clogged or dirty. Replace the tip if the inner diameter is enlarged or distorted. When worn, the orifice size can increase which will widen the cutting kerf of the torch. |
| Diffuser (#040175) | To be replaced if lateral openings are clogged. |
| Electrode (#040168) | Failure to replace an electrode can cause a blowout which will damage both the electrode and nozzle. If you need to slow down the cutting speed, are experiencing green discolouration of the arc or the arc is misfiring it is time to change the electrode. |
