Cutting Tip P13011 (105A) For P130 Plasma Torches
Pack of 10 cutting tips for use with a P130 plasma torch, as supplied with the Oxford CUTMaker 1000, 1300 and TecArc OPTeCUT 95 and 125 plasma cutters. The P13011 nozzles can be used for plasma drag cutting, up to 105 amps.
The nozzle focuses the plasma arc by funneling gas flow. The nozzle or tip orifice should be clean, symmetrical and the correct size to maintain cutting performance. As the tip or nozzle orifice is worn away with normal applications, the arc will get wider and less defined.
WHEN TO REPLACE: Changeover of this consumable should be performed when the orifice becomes damaged, the edges round off and mis-shapen. Failure to change these can result in poor performance.
The P13011 nozzle is for use when drag cutting up to 105A. Generally speaking, amperage is set to accommodate the material type and thickness it is cutting. The smaller the amperage of the nozzle, the smaller the hole is in the end. A small hole in the cutting tip will provide a finer cut with a smaller kerf, as opposed to a larger amperage cutting tip which will have a larger hole.
Please bear in mind though, that using a higher amperage setting on the machine than the cutting tip is designed for, will result in the tip becoming damaged quickly and poor cutting performance.
