Precision Cutting Tip P13007 (45A) For P130 Plasma Torches

Pack of 10 precision cutting tips for fine cutting using the P130 plasma torch, as supplied with the Oxford CUTMaker 1000, 1300 and TecArc OPTeCUT 95 and 125 plasma cutters.  The P13007 nozzles can be used for plasma drag cutting, up to 45 amps and providing a super fine cut.  Use with a lower airflow retaining cap (P13013), precision cut shield (P13017) and precision swirl ring (P13015).


The nozzle focuses the plasma arc by funneling gas flow. The nozzle or tip orifice should be clean, symmetrical and the correct size to maintain cutting performance. As the tip or nozzle orifice is worn away with normal applications, the arc will get wider and less defined.


WHEN TO REPLACE: Changeover of this consumable should be performed when the orifice becomes damaged, the edges round off and mis-shapen. Failure to change these can result in poor performance and increased cutting kerf.


The P13007 nozzle is for use when drag cutting up to 45A.  Generally speaking, amperage is set to accommodate the material type and thickness it is cutting.  The smaller the amperage of the nozzle, the smaller the hole is in the end.  A small hole in the cutting tip will provide a finer cut with a smaller kerf, as opposed to a larger amperage cutting tip which will have a larger hole.

Please bear in mind though, that using a higher amperage setting on the machine than the cutting tip is designed for, will result in the tip becoming damaged quickly and poor cutting performance.
