The Diesel engine driven Mosa Magic Weld 200 YDE is a lightweight professional machine, utilizing a Yanmar 6.7HP L70N Engine.  Electronic control of the welding current delivers a maximum of 200A with a 60% duty cycle at 170A.

The Mosa Magic Weld 200 diesel is a compact machine, weighing just 91kg, yet offers top performance, making it a perfect choice for maintenance and mobile welding purposes.  Equipped with a YANMAR L70N diesel engine and a permanent magnet alternator, it can function as a welder and generator simultaneously.  The machine features an electric start (recoil also available – choose in dropdown above) and its inverter is capable of generating 3.3kVA of auxiliary power.

“Power on demand” is produced with this Magic Weld 200 thanks to an auto idle economizer which increases fuel savings and decreases engine wear.  The 200 diesel is able to weld all kinds of electrode (rutile, basic, cellulose) up to 4mm and takes full advantage of the engines power output using MOSAs signature “Power Optimizer” technology.

Central to the success of Mosa welder generators is the Mosa asynchronous welding alternator.  This brushless alternator designed and manufactured in house by Mosa offers excellent welding characteristics and simultaneous AC auxiliary power and requires no maintenance as there are no brushes to wear and the solid rotor has no windings.
