The Mosa GE 20 PSX Multi Voltage generator is powered by a quality Perkins 404C-22G Water Cooled Engine. A Three-phase synchronous alternator generates 22 kVA (16 kW) three phase power and 15 kVA 230 or 110V Single phase.
The Mosa GE 20 PSX is a super silenced Diesel generating set made to the usual Mosa high standard. The machine is constructed to incorporate an integral roll bar, central lifting point, forklift pockets and a rear canopy which is hinged to provide easy access for engine maintenance. A 60 Litre fuel Diesel tank provides a running time of 15 hours. At 680 kg, the machine is compact and easily transportable using the optional site towor road tow trailer.
A recessed control panel houses the sockets and machine controls including the ELCB-GFI, circuit breaker and engine protection device. The control panel area is lockable for increased security.
Being equipped with AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) control ensures very stable power for equipment including sensitive electronics, computers, power tools etc.
EAS models are pre-wired to accept the optional MOSA EAS Automatic Start-Up Panel which plugs into the front panel of the Generator and enables the machine to be used as an emergency standby power unit in the event of power failure from the mains supply.
Also available is an optional TCM remote control allowing start/stop of the engine up to 10 metres distance from the machine.
Suitable for a wide range of uses including industrial sites, residential, construction, noise sensitive environments and emergency standby power.

The Automatic Vcoltage Regulator (AVR) is an electronic device that regulates the voltage level at all times to maintain precise AC output from the generating set. The AVR calculates how much voltage has to be sent to the exciter numerous times a second, therefore stabilising the output voltage to a predetermined set point.
The control characteristics of an AVR system are much more accurate than those of self-regulated alternators.
