The Mosa GE 115 PSX diesel generator provides 100 kVA three phase (80 kW) and 36.5 kVA single phase power generation. A super silenced water cooled diesel Perkins 1104C-44TAG2 engine reliably runs the GE 115 PSX.

This Mosa Generator features a large 230 litre fuel tank to provide a running time of 13.5 hours. At 1680kg the generator is compact for its capability and easily transportable when coupled with one of the optional trailers (also available here at TBWS). The Mosa GE 115 PSX is constructed with an integral roll bar, forklift pockets, a central lifting point and a rear hinged canopy section to provide full access for engine maintenance. Whats more, Mosa spare parts are incredibly well stocked, even after years of machine manufacture, making these generators very serviceable for extended lifetimes.

A bunded base ensures containment of fluids in the event of any loss, minimising disruption to the environment and clean up times on site.

Being equipped with AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulation) this generator is capable of powering equipment sensitive to voltage fluctuation such as computers, power tools etc. A recessed control panel houses the sockets and machine controls including an engine protection device and a circuit breaker.

EAS (Emergency Automatic Start) models are pre-wired to accept the optional MOSA EAS Automatic Start-Up Panel which plugs into the front panel of the Generator and enables the machine to be used as an emergency standby power unit in the event of power failure from the mains supply. An optional TCM remote control allows the user to start and stop the generator from up to 10 metres away. TBWS are able to supply Emergency Auto Start panels and remote controls as required.

Being a super silenced gen set, this machine is suitable for a wide range of uses including industrial sites, construction, residential, noise sensitive environments and emergency standby power.

This Mosa generator is built in accordance with CE regulation.

AVR EXPLAINED

The Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) is an electronic device that regulates the voltage level at all times to maintain precise AC output from the generating set. The AVR calculates how much voltage has to be sent to the exciter numerous times a second, therefore stabilising the output voltage to a predetermined set point.

The control characteristics of an AVR system are much more accurate than those of self-regulated alternators.
