PLASMA TORCH SHIELD FOR MARKING WITH THE HYPERTHERM POWERMAX 45 XP – 420542

A genuine Hypertherm plasma torch shield used for marking with the Duramax torch as used on the Powermax 45XP plasma cutter.

This shield, part number 420542 is specifically designed for the marking process and should be used with a marking nozzle 420415

WHEN TO REPLACE:  Changeover of this consumable should be performed when the main orifice or ventilation holes become damaged or blocked.  Failure to change these can result in poor cutting performance.  Hypertherm have produced a video on when to change shields.
