PLASMA TORCH SWIRL RING FOR HYPERTHERM POWERMAX 30 XP – 420211

A genuine Hypertherm plasma torch swirl ring for the Duramax torch as used with the Powermax 30XP plasma cutter.

This swirl ring, part number 420211 is one of the least changed parts when using a plasma torch.  The swirl ring controls the swirling action of the gas around the electrode which centres the arc through the nozzle.

WHEN TO REPLACE:  The swirl ring should be inspected for cracks, holes and deformities when changing other consumables.  On average, a swirl ring can last up to 15 electrode and nozzle changes.  A video on when to change the swirl ring is available.

The 420211 swirl ring is for use when drag cutting, extended reach cutting and gouging as well as fine feature cutting between 15 and 45A.
