PLASMA TORCH SHIELD FOR HYPERTHERM POWERMAX 30 XP – 420116

A genuine Hypertherm plasma torch shield for the Duramax torch as used with the Powermax 30XP plasma cutter.

This drag cutting shield, part number 420116 is the drag cutting shield.  Castleations allow contact between the workpiece and the shield during the cutting process.  The crown like structure provides the optimum distance between the nozzle tip and the material.

WHEN TO REPLACE:  Changeover of this consumable should be performed when the main orifice or ventilation holes become damaged or blocked.  Failure to change these can result in poor cutting performance.  Hypertherm have produced a video on when to change shields.
