GYS GYSARC 220 FV CEL INVERTER WELDER
A professional dual voltage (110 – 230V) MMA welding inverter equipped with the latest electronic technology to deliver excellent welding characteristics, the GYSARC 220 FV CEL is a versatile welder. Built to withstand harsh environments, GYSARC inverters have rugged casing and reinforced electronics and is tested to IP23 protection. Will weld any electrode from 1.6 up to 5mm, including basic, rutile and cellulosic rods. MMA Pulse modes allow easier positional welding.
Flexible voltage and PFC technology means the welder will run from an 85V power supply right up to 265V. This makes these machines particularly suitable for on site use, where 110 or 230V supplies might be available and extension cables may be required. GYS state that extensions up to 100m are possible with these sets.
A touchpad and one dial interface makes setting the machine easy, whilst a digital meter displays settings clearly.
A high duty cycle makes the GYSARC cellulosic welder suitable for intensive use of welding rods 1.6 – 5.0mm in diameter for materials up to 10mm in thickness. Steel, stainless steel, cast iron, rutile, basic, aluminium or cellulosic electrodes are all suitable for use.
Intuitive control panel with digital display
Choice between LIFT TIG or MMA modes.
Welding power range 10 >200A (230V).
Sealed panel prevents dust and moisture ingress
Benefitting from the following features:
Adjustable Arc Force: Instantaneous increase in welding current in difficult welding conditions.
Anti Sticking: Allows easier arc starting and helps prevent rod sticking to the material.
Hot Start: Makes it easier to arc with any type of metal (Low Hot Start: For thin metal sheets – high Hot Start for metals that are difficult to weld such as dirty or oxidized sheets)
Lift TIG: The arc is created by touching the metal with the tungsten electrode avoiding tungsten inclusions and radio electrical disturbances.
PFC Technology: PFC (Power Factor Correction) regulates and effectively uses the supply current which enables the unit to operate on a single phase 16A 230V outlet even with intensive use. Without PFC, a machine of this size a 32A supply may be required with 230V. Another benefit of PFC is its excellent resilience to the use of extension leads. This machine is capable of being used with long extension leads (up to 100m).
PROTEC 400: This technology is a protection factor for the electrical components inside the machine. Occasional or permanent voltage fluctuations from generators, lightning etc are dealt with.
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) : lowers the no-load voltage (< 30V) to secure welders in specific environments (mines, chemical plants, shipyards, etc.)
GYS GYSARC 220 FV CEL FEATURES:
- Immediate start due to a high no load voltage. Makes arc starting easier.
- Constant welding power
- Very smooth melting of welding rods with DC current
- Excellent arc stability and good penetration.
- High duty cycle enabling intensive use
- Lift TIG Capability – Easier start to ensure perfect quality welding bead. A simple movement of the wrist starts the automatic downslope to ensure a smooth and clean welding finish.
- Pulsed MMA mode: Switching from a high to low current means that the weld pool can freeze quicker and result in a more controllable weld pool. Pulsed MMA also puts less heat into the workpiece and reduces deformation.
- Will function on a standard 230V-16A / 110V- 32A, even during intensive use with long extension leads (100m).
- Suitable for use with generators +/- 15% (Automatic voltage regulation recommended)
- 2m electrode holder lead and 2m work return lead
- European made (France)
- 2 Year warranty
