ELECTAC MT900NI PORTABLE WELDING FUME EXTRACTOR – 230V
The Electac MT900ni is a compact and lightweight welding fume extraction solution. Featuring dual motors, the MT900 is the bigger brother of the MT800ni, with an increased airflow of 390m3. Designed for carrying to the working area, these units are perfect for mobile welders who may need to visit sites and will need to comply with HSE for indoor welding.
Built in Britain, the Electac units are well built and well priced to buy, with reasonably pried filters for economical running.
The MT900ni unit can be used with on torch extraction or with a nozzle for localised extraction from source.
Filtration is achieved by a main disposable filter cartridge and a built in spark trap. Combined, these standard filters achieve 99% efficiency of welding fume filtration to 10 um. Optional upgraded, active carbon high efficiency filters are available for compliance to BS 3928 to give filtration of up to 99.996%, filtering out gases.
Electac use bye pass motors when building these machines. Rather than relying on cooling from air passing through the motor laden with particulates, their motors take a separate supply of air. This increases cooling efficiency of the motors and increases the motor lifespan. SUPPLIED WITH: A 3.75m length of extraction hose, 45mm in diameter. Machine is fitted with standard filters, for use right out of the box. Nozzles are available with magnetic bases to attach to the end of the hose.
