Black Fibreglass Welding Blanket – 1020g/m² Vermiculate Weight

A heavier weight black fibreglass welding blanket with vermiculate coating for higher temperature and improved abrasion resistance. Available in a range of sizes and temperature resistant to 750°C. Perfect for garages, workshops and where welding is being conducted near items requiring shielding from heat, spatter or sparks.

These welding blankets are made from a fire retardant fibre glass material. The blanket can be used to cover an area near the welding or grinding task to prevent damage and fire break out. Although not its primary purpose, these blankets can be used to cover a spark burning to prevent a fire.
