A 5kg pack of 1.2mm 312 Stainless Steel TIG Welding Rods. Designed for welding base metals of similar composition in either cast or wrought formats. However, it can also be used to weld dissimilar types of steel base metals e.g. joining stainless steel to mild steel. As a result of its high impact resistance and exceptional strength properties. 312 TIG filler rods are the preferred choice for welding tool steels. Constructed from 29% Chromium (Cr) and 9% Nickel (Ni), therefore conforming to the 29.9 standard. Suitable for applications including general repair and maintenance, fabrication, plus joining of similar and dissimilar base metals including steel.
