GEKA GMAW 0.6MM 308LSi STAINLESS STEEL MIG WIRE ELOX SG – 1KG SPOOL
All positional 0.6mm 1KG spool of Stainless steel 308LSi MIG Wire from GeKa (GEDIK). 308 L Si MIG wire is a cheaper alternative stainless steel MIG wire to 316 with less corrosion resistance. 308 is often used when welding 304 grade materials.
Turkish-made MIG wire for welding 18 / 8 stainless steels for application in the food production, pharmaceutical, paper, cellulose, and general stainless steel fabrication industries.
308LSi is a low carbon stainless steel used for MIG welding on 13% Cr ferritic stainless steels, stabilized steels like 347, or steels of similar grades, including the commonly used steel grade: high-carbon 304.
Solid-core MIG wire for use with shielding gas – recommended 2.5% Argon Mix (TBWS Provide Welding gas – Call for stock availability).
Maintains its ductile performance at low temperatures of down to -196°C and its corrosion resistance at temperatures of up to 350°C (if this heat is exceeded for too long, you may see Intergranular Corrosion).
1KG Spools are typically for Spool-on-gun MIG Torches and a limited range of MIG Machines. The hub size (centre barrel) of these spools are smaller than the 5KG and 15KG (Spool Adaptor available).
