LASER WELDING EQUIPMENT
A game changer in the world of welding, laser welders offer some key benefits when compared with traditional welding techniques. The use of a laser welder can produce welds up to 4 x faster than other methods and the resulting weld seams can be neater, require less clean up and can be stronger too. Not only that, laser welding is easier to learn than TIG, MIG or MMA welding.
What can be seen as a large initial outlay to purchase a laser welder, the investment may prove worthwhile when considering the time saved.
Our Maxphotonics Weld Star laser welding equipment is supplied as a compact unit with an integrated wire feeder and a fibre laser welding torch.
We also have listed here, a number of laser welding enclosures or bays which are a key safety measure when welding with lasers.
The Weld Star laser has been well tested in the UK by trained service engineers and is supported by Wilkinson Star in Manchester. Demonstrations are available from their Manchester welding academy. Furthermore, test pieces can be made if required and videos of the weld can be shown to interested parties.
Please note though, that laser welding does have some unique hazards which need to be accounted for when considered as a welding process. For this reason, the demonstrations are not available on site and will need to take place in Manchester. A provision of a welding enclosure should also be made, if the Weldstar offered bay is not purchase
