PIPE WELDING

Pipe welding is a process used for joining two pipes together.  Pipe welding can take place in the construction industry, at oil and gas fields, at water plants, fabrication shops and nuclear power stations to name a few.  Pipe being welded usually transports gas, water, oil or other liquids.  It is usually conducted by skilled welders conforming to relevant standards or codes.  Pipe welding can be conducted with arc welding processes including MIG and TIG welding.

TOOLS

Our range of pipe welding accessories include stands to support pipe section, adjustable clamps to fit two pieces of pipe together and rotational equipment.

DWT clamps listed are adjustable between minimum and maximum pipe diameters and can be used for steel or stainless steel.  The AMA centering collars are suited to more specific pipe sizes.  Both allow the user to fit the pipe together with the perfect gap, ready for tack welding prior to running a root pass.

AMA pipe stands and the AMA Roller® are perfect for supporting pipe in the horizontal position for ease of welding or cutting pipe in 1G or 5G.
