MIG Torch spares are an essential stock item for a welder of any level.  MIG welding torch consumables can be changed easily and if not changed when needed can affect the weld appearance and strength of the weld.  TBWS supply a vast array of MIG welding torch spares and our team are ready to assist if you are not sure what part is required for your torch.

Listed here are perhaps the most popular, Binzel type MIG torch consumables.  Amicor Binzel, produced quality MIG torches many years ago (and continue to do so) and since, the design has been copied extensively.  Most manufacturers supply their MIG welders with Binzel type torches because parts are so widely available.

Below are the spares available, with a brief description of each:

• MIG Tips / Contact Tips – This is the part which allows the MIG wire to pass through whilst making contact with it.  In making contact with the wire, electricity is passed onto the electrode.  These need replacing if suffering from weld spatter or if the hole the MIG wire passes through has eroded, in which case conductivity is compromised.
• MIG Nozzles – The nozzle directs the shielding gas onto the weld puddle.  Available as conical, tapered or cylindrical to suit different applications.  These need changing if damaged or affected by spatter – which can obstruct gas flow.
• MIG Torch Liners – The torch liner is where the MIG wire passes through the length of the torch from the machine to the contact tip.  The correct liner for the MIG wire being used prevents snagging and ensures a consistent wire feed speed
• Nozzle or shroud spring
• MIG torch swan neck
