PARWELD XR940 PAPR SPARE PARTS

A range of spares available for the popular Parweld XR940 air fed welding system.  The Parweld XR940 is a good value PAPR unit, perfect for protecting against welding fume.

Lenses, filter and pre filters are all available here to allow full maintenance can be carried out on the Parweld system.

Outer lens – The outer lens cover the front of the main part of the XR940 helmet.  The lens protects the auto darkening filter from spatter and grinding debris.

Inner lens – The inner, or backing lens protects the inside of the auto darkening filter and is changed less often than the outer lens.

Main filter – The main filter is the part which takes out the particles from the welding fume and delivers filtered air passing though it, up into the welders helmet.  These are changed less than the pre filter.  The clogging alarm on the blower unit can alert the user to a change required, or from a visual inspection.

Pre filter – The pre filter is used to take out the bulk of the fume and by changing these often, protects the more expensive main filter from more frequent replacement.

Spark arrestor – The Parweld XR940A blower is equipped with a spark arrestor which protects the pre and main filters from hot debris damage.
