Workhorse is a division of Fiac who supply a large range of petrol driven air compressors and have now introduced a Diesel version. All Workhorse compressors are assembled in the UK and all petrol and diesel driven air compressors have electric start available.

Petrol Air Compressors

Powered by one of the worlds most renowned and largest engine manufacturers, Honda, established in 1948.  Honda engines are built with high quality materials and purpose-made components which ensure reliable long term use, hence the petrol Honda engines used in these compressors are covered by an impressive 3 year warranty.
The Honda petrol engines equipped on these compressors are extremely easy to start thanks to an automatic decompression system. This system, connected to the camshaft, reduces compression by opening the exhaust valve slightly when the engine is being started. This reduces the degree of force needed to start the engine.

Diesel Air Compressor

Powered by the quality Yanmar diesel engine, offering increased efficiency, reduced running costs and increased service life.  This little diesel engine is also backed by an impressive 3 year warranty due its superior build quality.

Designed for industrial and workshop use, these compressors are perfect for powering air driven tools.

Air compressors are suitable for a wide range of applications including drilling, hammering, sanding, grinding, wrenching etc through the use of air powered tools. The advantage of a petrol or diesel compressor is when a mains electricity supply is not readily available.
