ALFRA MAG DRILLS

When a metal section is too big to move to a drill, a mag drill is perfect to take to the item.  The Afra range of magnetic drills feature either electromagnetic or permanent magnet bases to fit the drill to the metal.  Once securely in place, the user can easily drill holes accurately and safely.  The mobility of a mag drill make them particularly suited to on site fabrication where a hole may need to be drilled for fixing sections together etc.

 

Alfra mag drills are fitted with auto shut offs in the event of the magnet no longer adhering to the workpiece.

The Alfra SP series feature permanent magnets.  The small size of the magnet allow them to fit into channels of beams etc whilst being strong and safe.  In the event of a power cut, the permanent magnet will not fail like their electro magnet counterparts.
