The SP series of Mag drills feature an industry leading high performance permanent magnet which allows use on material thicknesses as thin as 2mm. Conventional electromagnets on other magnetic drills typically rquire material thicknesses of 6 – 8mm. 100% safe, Alfra’s permanent magnet systems will not fail, even in the event of a site power failure.
Alfras range of permanent lifting magnets are also very impressive and well suited to fabrication and production work. The use of a magnet to handle sheet materials improves safety and reduces handling time due to ease of use.
Alfra have a UK head office in Sheffield, UK. Products are shipped from this location and in the event of a warranty issue, the customer is well looked after by the UK team.
